Waking the Ancestors carries the presence of ancient wisdom and transformative energy. Three ancestral faces emerge from the design, representing spirit guides, shapeshifters, and the deep memory held within the unseen realms.
A radiant Sun portal opens above, symbolising illumination, awakening, and higher connection, while an underworld portal rises below — a gateway to shadow work, ancestral healing, and spiritual transformation. Together, these energies create a powerful bridge between worlds, inviting deep journeying, ritual, meditation, and sacred drumming practice.
Each drum is individually hand-painted in acrylic, making every piece entirely unique. Finished with a light protective varnish, the artwork retains its organic texture and vibrant energy while offering lasting protection.

Drum Care
Your drum does not require oil, as the artwork is protected with a light varnish.
Avoid extreme temperatures or direct sunlight, which can dull the sound.
If the drum loses tension:
• Lightly mist only the inside of the drum with water (never the painted side).
• The skin may wrinkle — this is normal.
• Leave it to dry naturally overnight to re-tighten.
