Keeping Your Head Above Water
A playful and thought-provoking painting that captures a feeling many of us know well—trying to stay afloat when life becomes overwhelming. Ancient stone heads emerge from rising waters, their expressions quietly enduring as they struggle to remain visible above the surface.
Adding a touch of dark humour, watchful crows perch among the figures, while a single bird of paradise sits confidently above them all, bringing a flash of colour, hope, and unexpected optimism to the scene.
Blending surreal imagery with gentle wit, Keeping Your Head Above Water invites viewers to reflect on resilience, perseverance, and the absurdity of life's challenges. Whether it speaks to your own experiences or simply makes you smile, this artwork is designed to spark conversation and reward repeated viewing.
A unique piece for collectors who appreciate imaginative storytelling, symbolism, and art that balances humour with deeper meaning.
